Purpose and legal Basis for Data Collection

This electronic reservation system is the equivalent of a more formal written application for a permit. The data collected during registration to create an account and to book a reservation is required when applying for a special permit.

The legal basis for this data collection is:
Art. 6 Abs. 1 S.1 Buchst. e, Abs.3 DSGVO i.V.m. §46 Abs.1 Nr. 1 StVO

Disclosure of Data

Your data can be read by the Economic Department of the City of Nuremberg and the Nuremberg Convention and Tourist Office.

This data is used by these agencies only for the fulfillment of reservations and response to your questions.

The security personnel at the site can read your permit which includes both the company name and number/license plate for monitoring and control purposes.

Data Transfer to Other Countries

No data will be transferred.

Data Storage Period

Your data will be stored by the city of Nuremberg for 12 years in accordance with budgetary legal requirements (for tax and accounting purposes).

Your Rights

The General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO) gives you the following rights with respect to those responsible for data collection. If your personal data is processed, you have the rigth to know which personal data has been saved ( Art. 15 DGSVO). If incorrect personal data has been processed, you have the right to correct that data (Art. 16 DGSVO). If permitted by statutory requirements, you can request that your data be deleted, limit its processing ofr object to its processing ( Art.17, 18 and 21 DSGVO). If you have consented to processing of your data or a contact for data processing exists and data processing has taken place through an automated process, you have the right, when appropriate, of data portability ( Art. 20 DGSVO).

If you wish to claim any of the rights listed above, the city of Nuremberg will determine if the statutory conditions have been fulfilled.

You also have a right of appeal to the Bavarian State Commissioner for Data Protection.

Reason for Data Collection

The data is necessary for the processing and, if applicable, issuing of a special permit. If the data is not entered, it is not possible to issue a permit (See VwV-StVO to §46 Nr.16).

Right of Revocation

 A right of revocation is not possible in this case.
